For those of you who're actually reading my journals and wondering where I've been for the past two years, I should probably explain that.
So last time I posted a journal entry I was in Fort McMurray, Alberta for a co-op term. I can happily report that I came back from there safe and sound. They offered me a full time position after graduation which was nice of them, but I had to turn it down due to personal and spiritual convictions at the time about the concepts of calling, home and community.

Fort McMurray

Hey there, I'm not certain who if anyone still reads these but I suppose I'm sort of back from my unexpected hiatus from dART. As I've mentioned earlier I have been in Fort McMurray, Alberta for the past 2 months working for an oil company. I'm pretty happy about my job I think. I won't talk much about it because that's not the reason I'm on dA. However I will say the city here is... okay but I find sadly there is much to be desired here. I had a weird idea before I arrived that being up here I'd see things like my trip to Jasper or Banff. I imagined finding a nice clean lake and practice swimming again in a temperate rain forest. Traveling Again

I haven't been around much this term. Frankly it's been tough to have time for any of my usual hobbies let alone get anything done with this computer photography wise. I'm writing my exams right now.. so it'll be a while, but I'm sure I'll have stuff up eventually since... I'm headed over to Fort McMurray, Alberta for work this summer. I'm not what there is to do there, but I'll definitely have my camera in tow and try out new things. I'm looking forward to being out of exams and over there right about now...

OH darn! I'm really sorry. I'm honestly not on deviantART as much as I used to be. Things have been pretty crazy in my life these couple of months.
I studied at Volgograd State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering ([link]) for a study abroad term. I was only there for about three months probably while you were probably off for the summer though. It was an usual program some of my professors were American, some Canadian from my school and some were from your school. I'm afraid I don't remember any of my professor's names as it was several years ago and 3 months really isn't a very long time. I have no idea if they still do that program... although i think my school no longer sends students for some reason.
So are you graduating soon? You have classes until... the end of June right? I guess it's been a while since your last message. I'm really unlikely to visit deviantART as often as when I was still a student.
